Members-Only Reception - February 28
The library is holding a reception for its 2010 members on February 28, 2010 from 5 – 7 pm at the library. All members and their spouses are encouraged to join us for a glass of wine and some great hors d’oeuvres. Your board would like to share with you its current plans for the library and to discuss your ideas. Annual BBQ & Auction Fundraiser – May 2, 2010
The Spicewood Community Library is planning its annual BBQ & Auction for Sunday, May 2 from 12 – 4 pm at the Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department Fire Hall on Hwy 71. Please put this on your calendar. Tickets will be available by March 1. More information will follow but it’s always a good time – BBQ and music coupled with a big silent and great live auction. In the past we’ve had condos in Colorado and Utah, weekends at a beach house in Port Aransas, helicopter and airplane tours of the Hill Country, spa treatments, a used golf cart, art and the like.
